We’ll explore how to use vibration and harmonics to create meaningful experiences for yourself and others. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to explore sound as a personal practice, yoga instructors looking to incorporate sound into their classes, and those curious about the first steps towards sound facilitation. No musical background required.
What You’ll Learn:
How sound healing works on a practical level—what vibration and harmonics do for the mind and body.
The unique personalities of different instruments: Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls (frosted and alchemy), and other sound tools, plus how to choose ones that fit your style and intention.
Simple music theory and harmonics to help you create sounds that feel grounded, balanced, and beautiful.
Hands-on techniques for confidently playing crystal singing bowls and blending sounds with other instruments.
Ways to bring sound into your life—whether that’s for personal meditation, deepening your yoga offerings, or exploring the first steps toward facilitation.
Tips for selecting and purchasing bowls so you can find instruments that truly resonate with you.

Intro to the World of Sound: A big-picture overview of sound healing—covering instruments, the differences between frosted and alchemy bowls, and a super simple dive into how sound “works.”
Hands-On Practice: Guided instruction on playing crystal singing bowls and experimenting with layering sounds to create resonance that feels good to both player and listener.
Instrument Guidance: Support with choosing your “bowl-mates,” including an optional complimentary consultation before or after the workshop to help you find the right bowls (frosted or alchemy) for your personal or professional practice.
Personal Mentorship: An optional private follow-up session with Emma after the workshop to support your growth and answer any questions as you integrate what you’ve learned.
Guest Pass: Complimentary admission to one of Emma’s public sound baths, so you can experience how a full session feels from the receiver’s side.
About Emma: Emma Peck is a lifelong musician, psychotherapist, yoga instructor, and sound healer who has led over 200 sound baths across the Bay Area and beyond. She began exploring sound healing in 2020, blending her love of music with her work in the healing arts, and has since trained with experienced practitioners while developing her own unique approach. Through her offerings with Sound and Soul, Emma creates restorative, accessible experiences that support wholeness, aliveness, and connection to self.
